Important Note: This course includes a mandatory online pre-course, which takes approximately 3 hours to complete. After you register, the AMCC team will provide Graston Technique with your email address to enroll you in the pre-course.

The objective of Essential Training is to introduce students and clinicians to GT therapy, its clinical applications, physiological effects/benefits, and potential contraindications. As a result, GT Providers can effectively treat the adverse effects of scar tissue and fascial restrictions as well as improve and maintain optimal range of motion.

What to Bring:

• Portable Massage Table

• Water bottle

• Optional – Bring a towel for draping or to prevent potential emollient exposure to clothing.

Clothing: Most of the training is in a lab setting, so proper dress is required. Proper clothing includes loose-fitting athletic shorts (not spandex) and athletic shoes. For women, a top that can expose the scapula such as a racerback sports bra, low-cut tank top, or cami will allow your lab partners proper access to the body regions that we will treat.
