While it is commonly used to decrease pain, swelling and inflammation as well as accelerate healing in muscle and joint conditions, there are many other exciting cutting edge applications for light therapy. Newer applications include skin rejuvenation, scar tissue resolution, lymphedema, athletic training recovery, weight loss and even improving mood, sleep patterns and mental concentration.
