Course Evaluation Request

Thank you for your interest in having a course evaluated by the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta (MTAA). To initiate the evaluation process, please complete the MTAA Course Evaluation Form in full. All required information and documentation must be submitted before a course can be reviewed by the MTAA Competence Committee.
Course Evaluation Fee
A non-refundable fee of $50 plus GST per course submission is required and must be paid prior to evaluation. Please note that refunds will not be issued for courses that are declined or denied due to insufficient documentation.
Course Outline Requirements
A detailed course outline must be submitted for each hour of instruction. This information enables the Competence Committee to gain a comprehensive understanding of all course components. Submissions lacking sufficient detail may be declined.
Additional Information & Review Timelines
The MTAA reserves the right to request further information beyond what is outlined in the Course Evaluation Form. The MTAA also reserves the right to decline any course evaluation or re-evaluation request at its discretion.
Please allow up to 60 days or more for the review process to be completed. Timelines may vary depending on the complexity of the review, the volume of submissions, and whether additional information is required. While every effort is made to ensure timely processing, delays may occur due to Competence Committee scheduling and administrative requirements.
Submission Requirements
The MTAA will not accept partial submissions. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all required materials are submitted as outlined in the Course Evaluation Form. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
